Obama Visits Los Angeles Aug. 16

President Obama will next visit Los Angeles on Aug. 16, and on his schedule is a fund-raiser at the home of "ER" and "The West Wing" executive producer John Wells and his wife Marilyn, sources say.

Obama will be raising money for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, with invites expected to go out soon. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.), chairman of the DCCC, also are expected to attend. The event will start with a cocktail reception and will be followed by a co-host dinner. Read more at Variety
