Santorum Says Obama Not the Right Kind of Christian

I'm hoping republican primary zealots nominate Rick Santorum because all Americans need to see what's going on in the republican party, not just people who pay attention to politics. Fundamentalists have taken over the GOP. Americans need to see exactly the kind of "values" the republican party is espousing. Santorum doesn't stand a chance in the general election. But if he becomes the GOP nominee, in a matchup with Obama, it would be as plain as day just how extreme the GOP has become.
Oil and gas companies are using religious politicians like pawns, bankrolling efforts of religious fundamentalists to deny climate change, so that they can keep drilling despite environmental hazards. Climate change deniers don't even give one iota of thought or consideration of what the environment means to the people on this planet.
Religious types have taken over science classes in many states, adding "intelligent design" to science curriculums.
Now the Catholic Church has shown that it's aim is to control women, and it has the blessing of the GOP. The Catholic Church doesn't even believe in birth control. Welcome to the 21st Century.
Santorum shouldn't even be close to the presidential office. If he were ever elected president, all of that religion, all of that rigid belief, which blocks his critical thinking skills, would spill out into an all-out war against Islam. In case you hadn't noticed, Santorum is focused like a laser on Iran, who has its own fundamental leader.
Santorum's the worst kind of religious person. He is self righteous. He uses religion to defend his bigotry against gay people. He doesn't even recognize it as bigotry because he believes he is closest to what is righteous and moral. We know what religious fundamentalists do in the name of religion. Watch him get sanctimonious and angry in a debate about gay marriage.
Santorum even questioned Obama's Christianity, saying it's not the right kind:
“[O]bviously, he is now forcing people to do things that he believes that they have the right, that they should do," Santorum continued to say about Obama. "The Catholic church has a Theology that says this is wrong, and he’s saying no I’ve got a different, I’ve got a different -- you may want to call it a theology, you may want to call it secular values, whatever you want to call it, it’s a different moral values. And the president of the United States is exercising his values and trumping the values of the church. If you don’t want to call it a theology, I’m fine, you can have them let me know what they want to call it, but it is a different set of moral values that they are imposing on people who have a constitutional right to have their own values within the church, and that’s not a new low. That’s a reflection of exactly what ... it is a new low." msnbc
Santorum says Obama's healthcare law has free prenatal testing so people can get more abortions.

Robert Gibbs on Santorum's remarks saying Obama's not the right kind of Christian:

In a 2008 speech on Satan, Santorum's fundamentalism is apparent. Satan understood the "pride of smart people" (vs. the pride of the self righteous?), he says:
