Obama Speaks at Dobbins Elementary School in Ohio

Obama spoke this morning about the June jobs report, which said the economy added 80,000 jobs. It is the 28th consecutive month of job growth. Imagine where we might be if republicans were focused on helping instead of putting up obstacle after obstacle. There are four more jobs reports before election.

I've sworn off MSNBC's news, but it often posts speeches so here you go, Obama's full speech:

Here's Mitt this morning, still on vacation at his $8 million, 13.5 acre compound, telling the press -- from what looks like a garage -- that he has a plan. Well we'd like to hear some details, please, except Mitt is avoiding specifics. Someone needs to tell Mitt the pipeline may be a lot of things, but it's not a job creator.

He shouldn't be calling China cheaters and job stealers. Jobs go to China mostly because Americans want cheap products and taking advantage of China's cheap labor force was an expedient way for American companies to offer cheap goods.

Romney knows that. His Bain Capital was the outsourcing pioneer.

On the China front, wages are rising there and soon it will reach a point where it may be cheaper for American companies to make stuff here. In fact, many companies have chosen to leave China and make stuff here again.

Today's reads:

Romney made a career out of avoiding risk.

Romney isn't offering specifics. It's intentional.

Georgia republican makes fun of Obama's gums and toothy grin.

Economists say Romney's ideas could land score us another recession.

"Stack Ranking." How Microsoft squeezed the creativity out of its people. So that's what happened.

"Another difference with Romney. We love their cookies."

It's beginning to look like Romney has a dirty tax secret and maybe a link to criminal Robert Maxwell.

Romney's message gets messier. Obama's gets simpler.
